Erica Stewart

Erica Stewart is an educator with 20 years of experience in the Marshall County School system. Her career began as a first grade teacher at Grassy Elementary School (since renamed Brindlee Mountain Elementary) where she taught for three years. She also taught second grade for six years at DAR Elementary School before transitioning into the role of Library Media Specialist at DAR Middle School.

A Grant, Alabama native, Mrs. Stewart attended and graduated from DAR High School before pursuing her education degrees and still resides in the town of Grant with her family. She and her husband Wesley share three sons, Zane, Abram, and Max, and a daughter-in-law, Hannah. In her spare time, she enjoys being involved in her church, spending time with friends and family, camping, traveling, and reading a good book.

Mrs. Stewart believes that every student can succeed and that success is measured by growth. She recognizes that collaboration is key to that success and looks forward to building relationships with the community and becoming a part of the Owens Cross Roads family in the upcoming school year!
